Tullibardine Distillery


Sheltering at the foot of the Ochil Hills lies Tullibardine Distillery. It is built upon the remains of an old brew house which is where, reputedly, King James IV purchased ale from for his coronation in 1488. However it was to take another 450 years for a single drop of whisky to be produced!

Today Tullibardine Distillery produces some of the finest single malt you can taste. It is said to be a fine, easy drinking whisly ... perhaps too easy!

Friendly and knowledgeable guides take small groups around the working distillery explaining how everything operates and comes together to produce that fantastic amber nectar! The aromas can be pungent and heady but it's a great experience to peer into the barrels where the liquids are fermenting and frothing below.
