What better way to spend your weekend than a fantastic tour up to Loch Ness and the Highlands?
This tour will leave our departure point, Always Sunday, on Saturday morning. After taking in historic Stirling, dramatic Glencoe and the Great Glen's lochs, we spend our night surrounded by mountains before searching for Nessie at Loch Ness, winding through the dominating Cairngorms and picturesque Perthshire to Edinburgh on Sunday evening.

- The dramatic scenery of Glencoe, the haunting backdrop for one of Scotland's darker moments in history.
- The heartbreaking Culloden Battlefield where the Jacobites made their last stand against British Government soldiers.
- Forest walks to enchanting waterfalls to watch salmon leap (Jul - Oct)
- May - September : Entrance to a whisky distillery and a wee dram to taste the 'water of life'!
- October - April : A cruise on Loch Ness for extra monster spotting!
- A night at the Great Glen Hostel or Loch Ness Backpackers.
- Dinner and breakfast at the hostel.

Day 1- Leaving Edinburgh we make our way to Stirling to hear the tales surrounding William Wallace and Robert the Bruce. Following the lochs and glens to Glencoe, Ben Nevis and the Great Glen with walks to enjoy breathtaking scenery and plenty of stops to soak up the Highland atmosphere! Tonight we stay at the Great Glen Hostel, a superb hostel set in amongst the Great Glen's mountains.
Day 2 - This morning we begin with a a wee bit of Nessie spotting! visit to the tragic Culloden Battlefield to hear of Bonnie Prince Charlie's last stand before making our way to Clava Cairns (ancient burial site with superb standing stones with over 4000 years of history!). After lunch, we'll wind our way through the Cairngorm National Park with a last stop for a short walk through the Hermitage in Perthshire to see waterfalls.
Please note that from May - September some tours will be joining up with other people on our 6 Day Orkney, 6 Day Hebridean and 10 Day Island Hopper Tours. October - April it will be separate tour.
On Highland Games tours will try to stick to the itinerary as much as possible and the main places will be visited.
Tour itineraries and accommodation can vary due to acts of God etc, but we normally stick to this. Kitty includes accommodation, evening meals and breakfast plus entrance to a distillery.
